ABOUT THE BOOK The book "Logical puzzles" is an exotic textbook with numerous surprises, which contain more than 800 logical, mathematical puzzles. These puzzles and logical problems are grouped by their similarity and difficulty. The book is the first (and the only) textbook on entertaining mathematics in Armenian. A significant part of the book is composed of new problems, games and puzzles created by the authors. Mainly, the textbook is designed for the students from 9 to 12 years. The course "Logical puzzles" is to be conducted during 3 academic years (in 3-4-5, or in 4-5-6 classes). Accordingly, the book is devided into 3 chapters, each of which has 20 gradually complicating parts. In these parts the students will be proposed many interesting puzzles, various problems on cutting and constructing figures, and also a lot of confusing labyrinths, arithmetical criptographies and other. By solving, or even simply by reading the solutions, they will gradually enter the wonderful world of fascinating mathematical games and will develop their imagination, acquire skills of logical reasoning and quick orientation in difficult situations. The very original design (made by V. Dallakyan) and more than 500 color pictures (made by S. Khachikyan and H. Poshotyan) by cartoonists make the book even more attractive. Also, separately, A book for teachers conducting this course was published by the same publishing house. It contains the solutions for all the problems, as well as corresponding methodical instructions. Solving each beautiful, interesting problem, the student is filled with a deep feeling of satisfaction. You see, any secret, even the smallest, found while solving a logical puzzle, or an interesting problem, is similar to a big scientific discovery.
